The ALMA Network 2nd Meeting

The ALMA Network 2nd Meeting will take place in Berlin, Germany, at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) on the 19-20th of June, combined with the German ALMA programme “JUVENTUS” kick-off event.

The ALMA Network 2nd meeting is gathering for its first in-person meeting and will bring together the network Core group members. Network members will have two practice-oriented internal sessions of the network, followed by the opportunity to meet German project operators, get first-hand experiences, and visit the projects on the 2nd day.

The agenda on the 19th of June starts with the session about the ALMA Network work programme, which will provide the key areas of interest from the 1st network meeting on the 20th of April 2023 and will follow by the session “Tour de table”. Later participants will be able to join the “JUVENTUS” kick-off event with a welcome speech by State Secretary Dr Rolf Schmachtenberg and a panel discussion with representatives of the European Commission, European Competence Centre for Social Innovation and project operators. Moreover, World Café invites the participants to exchange good practices and have round table discussions with German project operators on implementing ALMA. In the afternoon, the second internal ALMA Network session will continue by sharing Experiences from the ALMA central call and Defining specific topics to be addressed (key factors, structure, way of working, members, etc.).

On the event‘s second day, participants will visit German ALMA Project operator “BILDUNGSWERK e.V.”. Network participants will have the unique opportunity to hear first-hand experience on how to find a suitable target group for the project, how to prepare properly for the preparation and follow-up phases, as well as how to make the regional and transnational networking with training companies and finding companies for the internships abroad.
