It is our pleasure to inform you that the ESF+ Community of Practice on Social Innovation is hosting an online webinar on the 11th of December from 9:00 to 11:30 (CET).
This event aims to start exploring how to concretely increase and improve connections between the policy needs and social challenges faced at the MS level and identified in their ESF+ SI priorities and the wealth of initiatives gathered in the Social Innovation Match (SIM) database that could inspire and be, at least partially, transferred and/or scaled up in national and/or regional contexts with the ESF+ support. SIM is not the only possible source of inspiration but represents a new and unique offer that promotes the transfer and scale-up of social innovations across Europe by providing linkages and connections with existing innovative models.
The event is primarily designed for ESF+ Managing Authorities and SIM validators to contribute to bridging this gap. It will be a practice focus session with:
- Testimonials from practitioners who experienced scaling-up and transfer in specific fields, the support they find helpful, the additional types of support they would like to receive, and how they share evidence of impactful work.
- Testing SIM in relation to specific policy areas and needs (breakout sessions) and discussing the role of the Database in finding effective projects and sharing lessons that could help address the social challenges faced across ESF+.
The webinar will be held online. Further details, including the agenda and registration link, will be shared soon.
We look forward to your active participation and valuable contributions to the discussions.
