The first call for proposals under the ESF+ initiative “Social Innovation+” is launched.  Indicative budget of the Call is EUR 15 million EUR.

This Call supports the preparation and implementation of the ALMA (Aim-Learn-Master-Achieve) initiative, to promote the social empowerment of disadvantaged young people. The aim is to help them integrate in society and, ultimately, find their way to the job market by combining support for education, vocational training, or employment in their home country with work-related learning experience in another EU country. Individual coaching and counselling will be offered at all stages of this initiative. The objective of ALMA is not only to improve the skills, knowledge, and experience of these young people, but also to boost their self-confidence.

ALMA will be made possible through partnerships and close cooperation between sending and receiving organisations, including public and private employment services, social services, training providers, youth and other organisations that help to select participants.

The ALMA pilot project will provide an excellent opportunity for the participating organisations to gain experience in European cooperation and to improve and broaden the competences and skills of their staff. The pilot project will allow participating organisations to draw lessons learned from the pilot project and to apply them successfully on a larger scale.

All organisations based in the EU are welcome to apply for the ALMA call.

The Call for Proposals is open from 15/12/2022 and closes on 15/03/2023 at 5:00 PM CET
