European Social Fund Agency hosted the 7th annual meeting of 3 Baltic countries for the organizations implementing ESF

On May 21-22, 2019 European Social Fund Agency (further – ESFA) hosted the 7th annual meeting of 3 Baltic countries for the organizations implementing ESF. Every year since 2011 this event is being organized by one of the Baltic countries. The event is dedicated to sharing the practice and the latest information on the progress of the ESF program among three Baltic countries and to strengthen the transnational cooperation among three Baltic countries. Latvian progress in this area this year was presented by the representatives from Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA), Estonians – by representatives from State Shared Service Centre and Foundation Innove.

During the 3B meeting all 32 participants mostly worked in smaller groups and discussed the issues regarding unplanned checks on the spot, irregularity investigation process and application of financial corrections when activities are not found during the on-the-spot checks, data collection on participants and co-operation with Auditing Authority. Representatives from State Shared Service Centre made presentation about perspectives for a New programming period, representatives from all three countries shared their experience on new and effective tools of human resource management and customer satisfaction surveys.

Next year, the 3B meeting of the European Social Fund implementing agencies will be organized in Latvia.
